Audio / Voice Consent Policy
Effective Date: May 26, 2026
AxisED includes training simulations that may use microphone input, voice interaction, speech-to-text transcripts, generated voices, and classroom audio playback.
1. When Audio May Be Used
- Stage 2 audio simulation.
- Stage 3 live classroom simulation.
- Interview or teaching practice features where voice is enabled.
- Future coaching, assessment, or classroom practice tools.
2. What May Be Processed
AxisED may process microphone input, spoken responses, transcripts, timing, scenario context, generated student voices, generated parent voices, generated classroom responses, and feedback reports.
3. Why Audio Is Used
Audio is used to create a realistic teaching practice environment, help users rehearse classroom delivery, evaluate clarity, support AxisAI feedback, and allow admins to review teacher training progress where applicable.
4. Consent
By starting a voice-enabled simulation, the user agrees that AxisED may process their voice input and transcript for training, feedback, admin review, quality improvement, and platform operation. Users should not start voice features if they do not consent to this processing.
5. Generated Voices
Generated student, parent, teacher, or admin voices are simulation voices. They are not real children unless AxisED clearly states otherwise. Users must not attempt to identify or misuse generated voices.
6. No Real Student Private Data
Users must not speak or type real student private information, medical details, disciplinary records, grades, or identifiable child data into AxisED unless their school has the required permissions and legal basis.
7. Admin Review
Authorized admins may review transcripts, responses, scores, and simulation records for training, recruitment, coaching, observation, or school leadership purposes.
8. Audio Quality and AI Limits
Voice recognition, generated voices, and AI responses may sometimes be inaccurate, delayed, repeated, or unclear. Users and admins should apply professional judgment and report technical issues to support.
